ORIGIN OF NOMAD BAGS:
They originate from nomads living in Afghanistan.
They are between 50 and 70 YEARS OLD... From the time of "the overland," perhaps most especially during the HIPPIE era. The overland was a time when people traveled "alternatively," traveling overland from Europe through Afghanistan to India. Everything smelled of FREEDOM and liberty with the spirit of art.
Nomadic carpets are not created by fashion. They have got very prehistoric patterns. They are authentic, timeless.
TRACES OF AGE:
USE:
These natural wool nomadic bags ( pillows) are very well suited for SITTING ON THE GROUND while preparing tea, meditating... They are soft, comfortable, and thanks to them, we can sit on the ground for a long time and enjoy tea, meeting friends, or a moment to ourselves.
The nomad bag can also be used as PILLOW, just fill it and it will rest very well.
THE MAINTENANCE:
1. Do not expose the carpet to too much sun to preserve its colors and shine.

MATERIAL:
The carpets are made of 100% NATURAL MATERIAL. Mostly hand-spun wool, sometimes camel hair and goat hair can be found. It dyed in the old way.

TRACES OF AGE:
The carpets are OLDER and mostly used by people (nomads) who tied and wove them. The carpets bear traces of life, are worn, but in good condition.
Proper CARE will ensure that these carpets will last for SEVERAL GENERATIONS. (see below)

(I recommend sewing a cotton bag the size of a rug, filling it with material (cotton, wool, feathers, etc.) and then putting it inside the nomadic bag.)
MY STORY:
Before I started making ceramics, I was a salesman, a dealer in hand-knotted carpets. I was and still am most fascinated by NOMADIC AND RURAL CARPETS, because they are not created by fashion. They are authentic, timeless.
We often hear from you that our TEA CORNER is very beautiful and that you would like to have something similar in your own home.
You probably already know that I am a lover of HANDICRAFTS. Yes, I surround myself with them, I feel more at home, more in touch with the ancient wisdom of humanity, more in touch with nature, more in touch with myself.
At home, we decided to SUPPORT "OUR COMMUNITY," to support you with these beautiful nomadic bags. THE INTENTION IS to continue celebrating the beauty of old crafts, so that perhaps even old crafts can continue in this day and age. We also have a lot of them and we can't use them all, and we feel sad that they are hidden away when they could be used in your tea room.

THE MAINTENANCE:
1. Do not expose the carpet to too much sun to preserve its colors and shine.
2. It is best to just beat the carpet.
3. Use a vacuum cleaner without a brush on low power. Vacuum in the direction of the pile.
4. In case the carpet is spilled with water. We suck up the water from the back and front by just pushing. Paper towels, toilet paper... (absorbent material) from both sides and roll and change while it is wet. You can also use a hair dryer, but not high temperature. Let the carpet dry in a draft (put it over a chair, dryer...)
5. Cleaning, preferably in winter (it must be minus before repair). We use snow (powder)... We throw snow at the carpet and beat the snow off. Repeat until the snow is "dirty". Then let the carpet dry, see point 4.
6. The carpet is made of natural material, if you use it daily, it is safe. If it is left lying around for a long time (several months), there is a risk of moth infestation. It can be treated in advance by putting plectranthus amboinicus leaves in the carpet. A plant that is very easy to grow.
